#284 Participate in Reddit Secret Santa and Catch Up
I’ve never done a Secret Santa. I’ve heard about it on TV and in the movies but never actually participated in one. At work, we usually have white elephant type gift situations. Secret Santa just never came up.
When I saw that Reddit was running a Secret Santa, I decided to sign up. On their website are photos of all sorts of wonderful, thoughtful gifts redditors have received from other redditors. My initial reaction was I was going to do a lot of research on the recipient I received and give them the perfect present. This was Reddit after all, I had an obligation to come up with something cool for my recipient.
The reality was that I had no time to shop for people I knew let alone a complete stranger on the internet. I am the worst Secret Santa ever.
I thought about just ditching the whole thing. But that’s pretty lame so I finally stopped putting it off tonight and bought my recipient a t-shirt from my favorite t-shirt place, Glennz Tees. Not the greatest of gifts, but at least it’s something.
Ok, now that’s out of the way, I wanted to play catch up on some stuff readers may have been wondering.
The Awesome Foundation is hoping to have a party to show my video in February. So I have a lot of time to work on my video. That’s good because I haven’t even started the damn thing.
I tried to contact The Pick Up Artist teacher but he hasn’t emailed me back. Hopefully he’s just busy for the holiday and I’ll be able to see him do his thing.
I was rejected as sperm donor. They can’t tell you why. I would say it’s because my sperm is super strong and they don’t want it hurting any women it goes into. That sounds reasonable.
The young lady blogger who made a video asking Joseph Gordon Levitt out did write me back a nice email. She said she was waiting to hear from JGL which I understood. I’d wait for JGL. I wrote her back and haven’t heard from her since.
Living Social made good on the pole dancing class fiasco. They gave me a full refund, twenty bucks in Living Social credit and they created a co-ed dance class just for me! It’s free for me off course but if anyone wants to go, there’s still spots open!
That’s it for now. I can say that I’m crazy busy for the next couple of weeks. I hope to continue to do some scary things. I have some cool things planned before the end of the year so stay tuned!
